Netflix Casts Perfect Star for Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3

Baroque Works is geared up to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their dominant hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the original manga and cartoon version.

The new cast member joins multiple recently announced actors tasked with bringing Baroque Works to reality, such as chief the main antagonist, played by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the lineup as the monarch of the fictional land.

Although the role is a important part of Baroque Works, the character will be introduced in One Piece the third season. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this signals a major departure in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest more adjustments to the story’s structure.

Their mix of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the role. Besides their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for creating and performing in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.

The streaming service’s real-life One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its second season on March 10, 2026.
