Star Denies Anti-Vaccine Position Following Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Film

The "Taken" star has lent his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that questions the legitimacy of vaccinations and lauds one-time government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Provocative Foundation

Named "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is adapted from a popular book written by a controversial scientist, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was a result of a bad strain of the influenza shot.

The publication's collaborator, the executive producer, has penned books with far-right figure Alex Jones. He wrote online hailing Neeson's participation in the documentary.

A Strong Denial

Representatives for Liam Neeson have provided a comment strongly denying claims that he subscribes to anti-immunization beliefs.

"Everyone can understand that corruption may occur within the medical sector, but that should never be conflated with being against vaccines," the statement states. "Liam never has been, and is not, against vaccines. His long work with Unicef reinforces his consistent support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The response added that the star had no hand in the film's messaging and that questions about its assertions ought to go to the filmmakers.

Major Claims In the Feature

In the film, the narration spoken by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have called for "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It posits that "medical science has become dangerously influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is interviewed claiming, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • The narration further attacks pandemic restrictions, saying they caused mental anguish that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it references a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary includes a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was subsequently the focus of a BBC apology by the broadcaster for editorial breaches.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr instructed the Centers for Disease Control to change its longstanding position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism. This assertion is repeated in the documentary, contrary to a fresh analysis from the global health body stating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Position of Support

Contrasting the film's tone, Neeson has previously shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a Unicef global ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in recent years has lost sight of how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

"Plague of Corruption" concludes with Neeson's script stating, "This is not the conclusion of our story. This is the start of a new chapter."
