White House Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Disclosed

Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they termed "disturbing" images from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—along with another 70 released later on Friday account for a small number of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Images

Included in the prominent personalities shown in the first release are public figures such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

Administration Statement

The White House responded to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the pictures for political purposes and to "seek to establish a false narrative."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official said, asserting that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging openness, releasing reams of records, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photographs were released lacking captions, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to affluent people.

"Now is the occasion to halt this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he said in a release.

The disclosure of these documents coincides with the oversight committee continuing its probe into the Epstein case.
