Your Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the title's release, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of treats. Many past Pokédex entries mention their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of any gathering, offering an constant stream of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became consciousness through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame category matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting aura is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
